The Penelope Wolverines volleyball team (Penelope, TX), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Bynum Bulldogs (Bynum, TX)

The Bulldogs (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Calm (Mount Calm, TX). The enter the 1A Region III District 23 challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Mount Calm was dropped by Milford (Milford, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Milford Bulldogs (Milford, TX) in a 1A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Penelope will attempt to move on its 16-14 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Mount Calm (Mount Calm, TX).
