In Friday's league battle, the host Cedar Hill Longhorns volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Skyline Raiders.

The Longhorns (15-15) will now prepare for their battle against Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes come into the 6A Region II District 11 battle with a 14-23 record. In their last battle, Duncanville lost by Mansfield (Mansfield, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Raiders encounter the Mansfield Legacy Broncos (Mansfield, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 battle, on Tuesday, October 18. Skyline will attempt to advance on its 1-19 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 14-20 record after their 3-0 league loss to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
