The Lytle Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cotulla Cowboys to 2 in the Pirates league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now have a 18-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dilley for a 3A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, October 18. Lytle will confront a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 7-14.
The Cowboys (11-19) will now prepare for their game against Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Owls enter the 3A Region IV District 28 game with a 24-13 record. In their last game, Hondo held off Natalia (Natalia, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
