The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Monroe Red Jackets (Rochester, NY) and the visiting Edison Tech Inventors (Rochester, NY), saw Monroe's volleyball squad nip Edison Tech by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 6-8 on the year. The Red Jackets travel to World of Inquiry (Rochester, NY) to play the Griffins in a non-league bout on Monday, October 17. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

The Inventors now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to School of the Future for a non-league bout on Friday, October 14.
