The Elks (19-17) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfield (Fairfield, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region III District 20 battle with a 32-3 record. In their last battle, Fairfield nudged Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions encounter the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 battle, on Tuesday, October 18. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 16-9 season record. The Bison come into the battle with a 17-22 record after their 3-1 league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX).
