With the win, Shiner upgrades its record to 25-12 on the year. The Comanches host Flatonia (Flatonia, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region IV District 27 bout on Saturday, October 22. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-18.

The Indians now own a 4-20 record. They play next when they travel to Flatonia for a 2A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, October 18. Ganado will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-18.
