The Hempstead Bobcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Van Vleck Leopards to 0 in the Bobcats league victory on Friday.

The Bobcats now have a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brazos for a 3A Region III District 24 game on Tuesday, October 18. Hempstead will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 27-12.

The Leopards (5-30) will now prepare for their game against Danbury (Danbury, TX). The Panthers enter the 3A Region III District 24 game with a 16-11 record. In their last game, Danbury dropped by East Bernard (East Bernard, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
