Spurger Pirates (Spurger, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Leggett Pirates (Leggett, TX), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Pirates battle the Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 26 match, on Tuesday, October 18. Spurger will attempt to advance on its 10-15 season record.
