The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Quantico Warriors (Quantico, VA) and the host Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), saw Quantico's volleyball squad nip Wakefield by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Quantico upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA) to play the Yellowjackets in a VISAA Division 2 bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 4-7.

The Fighting Owls now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. Wakefield will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Foxcroft (Middleburg, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 8-4.
