The Yantis Owls volleyball team (Yantis, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Union Hill Bulldogs (Gilmer, TX)

The Bulldogs (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX). The Bears enter the 1A Region III District 20 challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last challenge, Sulphur Bluff was dropped by Avery (Avery, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Owls meet the Avery Bulldogs (Avery, TX) in a 1A Region III District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Yantis will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 19-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX).
