The Hebron Academy Lumberjacks thwarted the host Pomfret School Griffins football team by a count of 20-12 in Saturday's league outing.
With the win, Hebron Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lumberjacks host Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY) to clash with the Mustangs in a NEPSAC 8-Man (8 Man) match on Saturday, October 28. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-2.
The Griffins (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Harvey (Katonah, NY). The Cavaliers enter the NEPSAC 8-Man (8 Man) match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Harvey dropped by Forman (Litchfield, CT), 38-34, in a league match.
