The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles football team (Washington, DC), was beaten 14-6 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD)
The Orioles (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Blue Storm come into the Keystone State (8 Man) challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Mercersburg Academy was beaten by Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA), 68-44, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Delaware County Christian for a Keystone State (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 20. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will meet a Knights team coming off a 68-44 league win over Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
