The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) and the visiting Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA), saw California's volleyball squad beat Aragon by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, California upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Grizzlies host Carondelet (Concord, CA) to play the Cougars in a bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 23-4. Carondelet won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Granada (Livermore, CA)

The Dons now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Sequoia for a bout on Thursday, October 19. Aragon will play a Ravens squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 0-11.
