Next, the Vaqueros confront the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a 3A Northern - East challenge, on Friday, October 20. Fernley will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Greenwave enter the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 8-0 league win over White Pine (Ely, NV).

The Spartans now have a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pershing County for a 3A Northern - East challenge on Wednesday, October 18.
