In Saturday's league battle, the host Stanfield/Echo Tigers soccer squad scored a good 10-0 triumph over the Grant Union Prospectors.

The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR). The Pioneers come into the 3A/2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, McLoughlin Riverside (Boardman, OR), 1-1, in a league battle.

The Prospectors (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Knights come into the 3A/2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Irrigon was overwhelmed by Four Rivers (Ontario, OR), 8-0, in a league battle.
