Next, the Bears confront the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) in a A/3A District 3/4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Hatch Valley will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 10-0 league win over Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM).

The Warriors now possess a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host New Mexico Military Institute for a A/3A District 3/4 challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Ruidoso will confront a Colts team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Colts record now stands at 11-3.
