New Mexico High School Soccer - New Mexico Military Institute knocks off Portales

New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Portales Rams (Portales, NM), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Colts confront the Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) in a A/3A District 3/4 challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. New Mexico Military Institute will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM).
The Rams now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lovington for a 4A District 4 challenge on Thursday, October 19. Portales will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 league win over Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-7.
