Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Oakville Tigers (St. Louis, MO), 9-8 in a league challenge.

The Fighting Indians now own a 28-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lindbergh for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 16. Jackson will face a Flyers squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Seckman (Imperial, MO). The Flyers record now stands at 22-7.

With the loss, Oakville falls to 13-18 on the campaign.
