Georgia High School Volleyball - Toombs County overwhelmed by Appling County

October 14, 2023: Lyons, GA 30436

In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Appling County Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Toombs County Bulldogs.

The Pirates (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears come into the 2A Area 3 battle with a 23-10 record. In their last battle, Pierce County achieved victory over Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Landmark Christian War Eagles (Fairburn, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 17. Toombs County will attempt to advance on its 15-9 season record. The War Eagles come into the battle with a 25-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA).
