The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA) and the visiting Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA), saw Boone's volleyball squad beat Grand View Christian by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Boone upgrades its record to 12-18 on the year. The Toreadors travel to Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA) to play the Tigerhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Tigerhawks go into the bout with a record of 7-17. Colfax-Mingo lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA)

The Thunder now own a 7-32 record. They play next when they travel to East Marshall for a non-league bout on Monday, October 16. Grand View Christian will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to GMG (Garwin, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-28.
