Nebraska High School Volleyball - Stanton edged by Clarkson/Leigh

The Clarkson/Leigh Patriots held off the visiting Stanton Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's league test.

The Patriots now have a 28-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakland-Craig for a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 17. Clarkson/Leigh will battle a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE). The Knights record now stands at 26-4.

With the loss, Stanton moves to 20-8 on the year. The Mustangs host Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 17. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 5-28. Lutheran-Northeast lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Lakeview (Columbus, NE)
