Missouri High School Volleyball - McDonald County over East Newton

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO) and the visiting East Newton Patriots (Granby, MO), saw McDonald County's volleyball squad beat East Newton by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, McDonald County upgrades its record to 5-25 on the year. The Mustangs host Cassville (Cassville, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 12-13. Cassville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Aurora (Aurora, MO)

The Patriots now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a Class 3 District 12 bout on Saturday, October 14. East Newton will play a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO). The Indians record now stands at 7-15.
