In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Moorhead Spuds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Eden Prairie Eagles.
The Spuds (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison come into the non-league battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Buffalo lost by Waconia (Waconia, MN), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Caledonia Warriors (Caledonia, MN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Eden Prairie will attempt to advance on its 4-21 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 19-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Champlin Park (Champlin, MN).
