The Pioneer Mustangs volleyball team (San Jose, CA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA)

The Cougars (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Christopher defeated Independence (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Pioneer will attempt to move on its 14-10 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to James Logan (Union City, CA).
