In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Woodbine Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Exira-EHK Spartans.

The Tigers (14-14) will now prepare for their battle against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Bulldogs come into the Rolling Valley battle with a 20-8 record. In their last battle, Boyer Valley nudged West Harrison (Mondamin, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 16. Exira-EHK will attempt to advance on its 9-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 8-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, IA).
