Kansas High School Volleyball - Maranatha Christian Academy over Jefferson County North

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles (Shawnee, KS) and the host Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS), saw Maranatha Christian Academy's volleyball squad beat Jefferson County North by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Maranatha Christian Academy upgrades its record to 27-8 on the year. The Eagles host Bishop Seabury Academy (Lawrence, KS) to play the Seahawks in a Kaw Valley bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 18-13. Bishop Seabury Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Cair Paravel (Topeka, KS)

The Chargers now own a 28-6 record. They play next when they travel to McLouth for a Northeast Kansas League bout on Tuesday, October 17. Jefferson County North will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Jackson Heights (Holton, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-21.
