The Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Kimball Longhorns (Kimball, NE), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Perkins County upgrades its record to 17-11 on the year. The Plainsmen host Hershey (Hershey, NE) to face the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 14. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 12-11. Hershey lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Perkins County (Grant, NE)

The Longhorns now own a 3-22 record. They play next when they travel to St. Patrick's for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 14. Kimball will face a Irish squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ogallala (Ogallala, NE). The Irish record now stands at 11-14.
