New Mexico High School Volleyball - Piedra Vista crushed by La Cueva

The La Cueva Bears topped the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's league test.

The Bears now have a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandia for a 5A District 2 test on Wednesday, October 18. La Cueva will confront a Matadors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 7-7.

The Panthers (3-12) will now prepare for their test against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs enter the 5A District 2 test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, West Mesa was knocked off by Farmington (Farmington, NM), 3-1, in a league test.
