The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lowell Cardinals to 0 in the Fightin' Irish non-league victory on Saturday.

The Fightin' Irish now have a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory for a West Catholic game on Tuesday, October 17. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 20-11.

The Cardinals (21-8) will now prepare for their game against Immaculate Conception (San Francisco, CA). The Spartans enter the Academic Athletic Association game with a 4-13 record. In their last game, Immaculate Conception dropped by Lincoln (San Francisco, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
