The Middleton Cardinals topped the host Madison La Follette Lancers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cardinals now have a 18-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Janesville Parker for a non-league test on Saturday, October 14. Middleton will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Big Foot (Walworth, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 6-22.

The Lancers (2-20) will now prepare for their test against Vel Phillips Memorial (Madison, WI). The Spartans enter the Big Eight test with a 23-7 record. In their last test, Vel Phillips Memorial gained a win over Madison East (Madison, WI), 3-0, in a league game.
