Illinois High School Volleyball - Maine East can't hold off Prospect

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Prospect Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Maine East Blue Demons.
The Knights (13-15) will now prepare for their battle against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 4-23 record. In their last battle, Maine West was edged by Jacobs (Algonquin, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Blue Demons encounter the Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Maine East will attempt to advance on its 11-17 season record. The Blazers come into the battle with a 11-18 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL).
