The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL) and the visiting West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), saw Monmouth United's volleyball squad beat West Prairie by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Monmouth United upgrades its record to 19-12 on the year. The Red Storm travel to Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 20-8. Erie-Prophetstown won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL)

The Cyclones now own a 16-15 record. They play next when they host Kewanee for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. West Prairie will play a Boilermakers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 7-18.
