The Rivera Raiders volleyball team (Brownsville, TX), went down 3-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX)

The Greyhounds (16-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Cardinals come into the 6A Region IV District 32 challenge with a 8-17 record. In their last challenge, Harlingen went down by Hanna (Brownsville, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders encounter the Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 32 challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Rivera will attempt to move on its 19-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 17-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX).
