Fans at Monday's league contest between the Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA) and the host Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), observed Annandale's volleyball team top Lewis by a count of 3-1.

The Atoms (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Colonials enter the National contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology notched a victory over Justice (Falls Church, VA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Lancers meet the Justice Wolves (Falls Church, VA) in a National contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Lewis will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 10-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA).
