In Monday's league game, the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) flag football team were victorious over the visiting Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), by a tally of 25-6.

In their next game, the Foothillers face the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots (San Diego, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 16. Grossmont will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Pilots enter the game with a 11-3 record after their 44-0 non-league loss to Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA).

The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars enter the Grossmont Hills game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Steele Canyon fell by Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA), 19-13, in a league game.
