The Granite Hills Eagles got by the host Steele Canyon Cougars flag football team by a score of 20-18 in Monday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) in a Grossmont Hills challenge, on Monday, October 21. Granite Hills will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Sultans go into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 18-7 league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA).
The Cougars (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers go into the Grossmont Hills challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Grossmont was edged by Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA), 32-14, in a non-league challenge.
