The Laguna Beach Breakers got by the host Portola Bulldogs flag football team by a score of 14-13 in Monday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Breakers face the Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Laguna Beach will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Vaqueros go into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 35-6 league loss to Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA).

The Bulldogs (2-17) will now prepare for their challenge against University (Irvine, CA). The Trojans go into the Pacific Coast challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, University was edged by Woodbridge (Irvine, CA), 28-14, in a league challenge.
