The Oakmont Vikings walloped the host Wheatland Pirates flag football team by a score of 53-21 in Monday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League challenge, on Friday, October 18. Oakmont will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Matadors go into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 32-7 league win over Center (Antelope, CA).
The Pirates (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Falcons go into the Pioneer Valley League challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Colfax bounced Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 33-6, in a league challenge.
