In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Parkdale Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets.

The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Laurel (Laurel, MD). The Spartans enter the Prince George's County 4A outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Laurel was edged by Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing, on Tuesday, October 15. Gwynn Park will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 4-4 record after their 6-4 non-league win over College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD).
