The Twin Valley Wildcats soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Poultney Blue Devils to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.

The Wildcats now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Mill River for a SVL-D bout on Wednesday, October 16. Twin Valley will play a Minutemen squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland, VT). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Poultney moves to 5-6 on the year. The Blue devils host Proctor (Proctor, VT) to play the Phantoms in a SVL-D bout on Thursday, October 17. The Phantoms go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Proctor won 5-0 in their recent league bout against Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT)
