Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) and the visiting Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA), observed William Campbell's volleyball team top Buckingham by a tally of 2-0.

The Generals (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Nelson County was beaten by Chatham (Chatham, VA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Buckingham will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA).
