With the win, Kings Mountain advances its record to 16-1 on the season. The Mountaineers host Crest (Shelby, NC) to face the Chargers in a test on Tuesday, October 15. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 5-3.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Point for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. North Gaston will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-10.
