In Monday's league contest, the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) soccer team edged the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), by a count of 1-0.
Next, the Lions face the River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
