In Monday's league outing, the host Highland Tech Rams soccer squad scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets.

The Rams (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors go into the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, East Gaston was overwhelmed by Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 6-3, in a league outing.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing, on Tuesday, October 15. Bessemer City will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 4-10 record after their 9-2 league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC).
