The North Mecklenburg Vikings soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Harding University Rams to 1 in the Vikings league victory on Monday.

The Vikings now hold a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mallard Creek for a Queen City 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, October 16. North Mecklenburg will play a Mavericks squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-10.
