In Monday's league outing, the host Huss Huskies soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Kings Mountain Mountaineers.

The Huskies (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders go into the Big South 3A outing with a 13-1 record. In their last outing, South Point got by Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC), 9-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Mountaineers play the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a Big South 3A outing, on Wednesday, October 16. Kings Mountain will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 3-13 record after their 8-2 league loss to Forestview (Gastonia, NC).
