The Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), 5-1 in Monday's league challenge.
The Blue Devils now hold a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Caldwell for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Wednesday, October 16. Maiden will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, West Lincoln moves to 2-10 on the year. The Rebels host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to encounter the Bears in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Wednesday, October 16. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Bunker Hill lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)
