In Monday's league contest, the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) soccer team edged the host St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC), by a count of 1-0.
Next, the Raiders battle the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a Southeastern Athletic 2A contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Dark Horses enter the contest with a 16-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).
The Bulldogs (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Knights enter the Southeastern Athletic 2A contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, West Bladen held off Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 4-2, in a league contest.
