In Monday's league outing, the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Trinity Bulldogs.

The Cougars (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Randleman got by Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A outing, on Wednesday, October 16. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).
