The Nevada Tigers softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Clinton Cardinals to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aurora for a Class 3 District 12 battle on Thursday, October 17. Nevada will confront a Houn Dawgs team coming off a 15-1 league loss to Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO). The Houn Dawgs record now stands at 3-26.

With the loss, Clinton moves to 7-19 on the season. The Cardinals host Holden (Holden, MO) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 18-13. Holden lost 6-1 in their recent non-league battle against Carrollton (Carrollton, MO)
